Macro<$blog>
Purpose This macro allows you to bring recent posts from the blog directly into the template.
Special NotesThe blog section macro supports the following tags that are inserted into a corresponding HTML element. Unlike the content section macro, this macro does not create blog entries.

$author-Author
$category-Blog Category
$date-Post Date
$image-Image
$title-Title
$summary-Summary
$total_comments-Total Comments
$viewlink-Link To View Blog Post

Following are 3 other tags that allow you to bring content into your template. These tags work in the identical way as the $blog tag works, just the types/names of the tags are different:

$blogcategories, $testimonials, and $news
Attributes
  • maxrows - The maximum numer of entries to return
  • tagid - An element ID to assign the yellow edit tag to

By default, the entries are returned by the most recent first.
